Organic Ox Kidney, Previously Frozen

A key ingredient in a traditional steak and kidney pie. We've trimmed out the core and diced the kidney for you so you can have just the portion you need with no fussy preparation. When cooked quickly, ox kidney it has a velvety smooth texture and distinctive flavour. With slower cooking, it mellows and softens. Either way, it's an old-fashioned treat that deserves to be enjoyed more regularly and makes an excellent choice as part of a balanced diet. 

At The Organic Butchery, we rear our animals to the highest welfare standards, reflected in the quality of our meat; our cattle are able to roam in large fields, grazing on fresh grass for as long as the weather annually permits - slowly maturing, as nature intended. 

Minimum Shelf Life: 3 Days (including day of delivery)

This product has been previously frozen and therefore may defrost partially or fully on its way to you. Due to this it is not suitable for re-freezing.
