


Organic Nitrate-Free Gammon Steaks

For a quick and delicious supper, there's not much that beats a good, old-fashioned gammon steak. Because we do things naturally at The Organic Butchery, our gammon steaks have just-sliced-from-the-joint shape and the distinctive texture of beautiful, organic pork leg. They're medium cut and lean, with just a little bit of superficial fat to keep the meat succulent and flavoursome.
The quality of our meat is reflective of our high-welfare and sustainability standards; our organic pigs are fed a healthy diet of grass, hay and concentrated food and are slow-grown to maturity, running, basking, and wallowing all year round. Living outdoors is obviously vital for the well-being of these intelligent creatures, but it’s also vital for the production of top-quality pork.
Depending on the size of the pig, your steak may come in one of two shapes, see the first and second image for reference.
