The cut

Making your own stock is one of the easiest but most effective ways to add layers of flavour to your cooking. Use our grass-fed organic beef stock bones for broth to make the basis for soups, stews, casseroles, grain dishes and our Organic Beef Bone Broth and you'll really taste the difference. With dried stock cubes and bouillon powders, you're never really certain what's gone into them. By boiling up your own stock you can be 100% in control of your ingredients. So if you want to stay on top of your salt intake or reduce your consumption of preservatives, this is an excellent place to start. It's also a great way to be a real nose-to-tail cook.

Storage Information

Once your order arrives, unpack your fresh products and place them in the fridge at 0–5°C as soon as possible.

The minimum shelf life for each fresh product is shown in the description and includes your delivery day. Every pack is also labelled with its own use-by date. Please enjoy or freeze your fresh meat before this date.

If you don't plan to use your fresh meat before the use-by date, we recommend freezing it as soon as possible after delivery to preserve its quality. Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator before cooking and do not refreeze once fully thawed.

For the best quality:

  • Store refrigerated at 0–5°C.
  • Freeze before the use-by date if not using fresh.
  • Defrost fully in the fridge before cooking.
  • Do not refreeze once fully thawed.
  • Always cook thoroughly before eating.

Our fresh meat is cut to order, vacuum packed for freshness and carefully chilled throughout delivery, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition and ready for your fridge or freezer.

take too long to cook and very messy to clean up, not a fan of either of those qualities. In future I'll just buy the ready made broth.

I presume the quality was good but I didnt realise this couldnt be frozen as I didnt see already frozen in listing like i did for the other bones. So they had to be thrown away. They did offer me 10% off but there is already a 10% off on site🤷‍♀️

The bones were good. I made with them very good bone broth, if only though they weren't previously frozen.

Beautiful bones, made delicious rich stock.

Good job we have solar panels and sunny weather: boiling for 4 hours is really what is needed and no less- but then! The resulting stock pot and meat shreds made a casserole worth waiting for.
