If you love the taste and texture of sirloin steak but want the convenience of a beef roasting joint, The Organic Butchery's sirloin joint is a perfect choice. With all the characteristics you'd expect from the tasty sirloin – tenderness, delicate flavour, very little fat – it's an easy to cook joint that makes a hearty roast-dinner centrepiece. Because the sirloin is such a big cut of meat, our butchers have boned, rolled and neatly tied it. This means it cooks through evenly and consistently and carving is a doddle.
When you taste our beef you'll understand why we rear all of our cattle to the highest welfare and organic standards, feed them only grass and allow them to grow slowly to natural maturity. Not only is this the ethical way – the only way – to rear animals, it also results in meat of outstanding quality. The Organic Butchery roasting joints are full of rich, authentic flavour and because we hang our carcasses for 28 days before butchering them, our joints will not shrink in the oven.

Sirloin is a cut that's sometimes accused of having less flavour than other, 'beefier' cuts, but you won't find that with our organic sirloin joint. All of The Organic Butchery's beef cattle are grown to over two years old (as opposed to the conventional 15 months) which means they've had time to develop strong muscles and bones while grazing their natural grass and clover diet. This slow growth imparts flavour to the meat, meaning our sirloin is sweet, delicate and distinctive – definitely not bland!

We deliver all around mainland Britain, excluding the Highlands and Islands. You will be able to choose your preferred delivery slot at checkout.

For every order, we'll send you a text message on the morning it is due to be delivered.
Our courier will leave it in your requested safe place if you would prefer a contactless delivery.

No. You can leave a message with your order telling us where you would like to have your box placed. It would be best placed somewhere cool or at least in the shade – especially during the hotter months of the year. Our products will stay at the same temperature for up to 40 hours, so just make sure that you can pick up your order within that time.
Our couriers will send you a text message or email, whichever you prefer, giving you an hour slot when your box will arrive. If that doesn’t suit you, some options will be provided to make your delivery more convenient.

Your delivery box is made of 100% recycled paper and is 100% recyclable.Delivered Fresh
To keep your order cool and fresh we use gel ice packs which will retain a low temperature for a long period of time. Reuse them for a picnic or return them to us through our free packaging returns sevice.Sustainably Insulated
We use paper pulp sheets to insulate the box. They are great for craft projects or can also simply be recycled with paper waste.

You can cancel your order within two hours after your online purchase. We can not cancel an order after this period.
We hope that you enjoy our products. But if for any reason you are unhappy, please let us know why within 28 days of delivery, by sending us the batch number and the reason why you are disappointed with the product. Do not throw the product away as we may need to recall it to confirm the problem.
As your product is perishable, you will not be asked to return it for us for re-selling.
When we have looked at the evidence, we will then consider reimbursing you by means of a credit for a future order or resending the product. We will do our very best to respond as quickly as possible and try to resolve it.

The subtle internal marbling and thin layer of superficial fat of our organic sirloin joint mean it's not a fatty cut but will remain moist when cooked. It's a really traditional cut so works perfectly with the traditional accompaniments of crispy roast potatoes and a luscious, rich red wine gravy. Coating the joint with horseradish or mustard and herbs before roasting it results in a crispy, punchy crunch around tender pink meat. The flavour of sirloin also works well with the earthy, sweet spices of Chinese cuisine – try rubbing with Chinese five spice and some honey before roasting, then serve with noodles and crunchy stir-fried veg.
