What makes a product special? We feel that a product crafted from a specific place holds that location within it; the memory of the very landscape that has formed a part of its being. A quality that could never be replicated on a factory production line..

In the lush fields of Devon, where rolling green hills meet the sea, a special kind of magic happens. This landscape, a tapestry of rich pastures, ancient woodlands, and rugged moors, touches every aspect of life here. In this vast county crossed by hedge-bordered lanes and ancient roads across high moors, life operates at a slower pace.

Our organic meat is a testament to this land, where animals roam freely on the land that gives them life. The grass, lush and verdant, provides a natural diet that instils the meat with a flavour that’s distinctly Devonian; slow-grown, tender, and full of character. The story of these Devon fields is right there in the livestock that graze on a diet free from chemicals and artificial additives on our network of organic farms. Here, the air is clean, the soil is fertile, and animals can grow at their natural pace. This unhurried attitude extends to our butchery, where our organic grass-fed beef is matured on the bone for 28 days to deliver pure, distinctive flavour every time.
 

Meanwhile, on the far side of these isles, another tale unfolds. The Nc’nean distillery, located on the wild and remote Morvern peninsula in the Scottish Highlands, embodies a wild, independent, artisan spirit shaped by the North Atlantic winds and dramatic vistas of the Hebridean coast. The cool, pure water that flows through rivers shaped by sandstone and quartz and the organic barley grown in the fertile, protected Eastern grasslands are the lifeblood of Nc’nean’s organic single malt whisky.

Nc’nean’s commitment to sustainability mirrors our own. They use organic ingredients, avoid synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, and their entire distillation process is powered by renewable energy. As the whisky ages in toasted and charred casks, it absorbs the essence of its environment, resulting in a taste that could only have been produced in that spot.
