Organic Bone Broth Made Simple
Making your own broth can be time consuming; with long simmering periods, constant monitoring & flavour testing, you eventually find yourself confined to the kitchen,. Our broth pouches take away the hard work and are a quick and easy alternative - just pour the contents of the pouch into your sauce pan, and bring to the boil.
Broth For All
To ensure as many of our customers as possible are able to enjoy our organic bone broth, we stock a low FODMAP range to cater for those with specific dietary requirements; Borough Broth's adapted recipe excludes highly fermentable ingredients such as onions and garlic. It's made to complement gut-healing diets such as low FODMAP, AIP, SIBO and GAPS that are designed to ease symptoms of IBS and other gastrointestinal diseases. Low FODMAP broth is just as rich and gelatinous as our standard broth, but is designed to be much easier for digestion.
How to Use Your Organic Bone Broth
There are many health benefits to incorporating bone broth into your diet. As to how, you might be pleasantly surprised by how many different ways organic broth can be used, from simple dishes to fancy flavours... there's something for everyone!
Drink Your Broth
Starting with the simplest of them all; bone broth can be warmed through and drunk as you would a regular hot drink - add a little seasoning of your choice, a wedge of juicy lemon and sprinkle of fresh herbs, and you'll have a nutrient-rich mug, full of flavour to sip on.
(Surprisingly) broth and chocolate can make a peculiarly-pleasant combination! Blend together with organic milk, cocao powder, maple syrup for sweetness, chocolate buttons and ground cinnamon and simmer on your stove for a hearty hot 'brothclate' - find the Borough Broth recipe here.
Serve in a Soup
Instead of reaching for your usual stock to bulk up soups & enhance flavour, why not upgrade to bone broth? You might want to add a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to release the acidity that helps to break down collagen.
It can also be added to enhance the flavour and nutritional content of gravy!

Marinated Mash
You can't go wrong with mashed potato - a trusty go-to dinner time accompaniment.
You might find yourself experimenting with flavour; adding cheese, cream, milk or butter.... so why not bone broth? Simply add half a cup to your pan of potatoes, boil and mash together! Pair with our organic free-range sausages for a tasty take on a classic favourite: sausage & mash!
Stew-pendous Stews & Casseroles
There's nothing like coming home from a long day to a slow-cooked casserole or stew; the simplicity of serving up to enjoy and then saving for another day. Pour an organic bone broth pouch of your chosen flavour into your slow-cooker/pan and leave to stew - you'll be sure to bowl everyone over with an undeniably delicious dinner.
Perfect Your Pâté
Pâté can be considered an acquired taste - however, if you're a fan of smooth, creamy texture and rich, meaty flavour - then it's certainly for you! Add our organic bone broth into your food processor and blitz with the rest of your ingredients for a purée that's bursting with flavour.
Why not make your own using our organic chicken liver?
Superior Scrambled Eggs
You can't beat a hearty breakfast to kickstart the day; level up by pouring a cup of broth into your egg pan, stir in and leave to simmer. The egg will absorb the juicy flavours of the bone broth, to give your scrambled eggs some edge.
Enrich Your Ramen
Most commonly associated with Japanese cuisine, Ramen is a noodle soup that can be served with a variety of meat and vegetables, and often topped with a boiled egg. It's no secret that bone broth is a key ingredient in Ramen, however it is often battled against stock. We are certainly advocates for bone broth due to its lighter, thinner consistency that complements a ramen bowl. Broth bones also still have scraps of meat attached when simmering; releasing additional flavour.

Revolutionise Rice Dishes
You might think of rice as a starchy grain that lacks taste, added to many dishes to soak up excess sauce. However, instead of boiling your rice in water, a quick switch to bone broth will leave you with rice that's loaded with meaty, aromatic flavour - making it the main event of any meal.
